  Might have been the best cooked steak I've ever eaten. It was a gigantic cut of meat too. The chicken fingers were a hit and the salad provided was a nice touch before eating my weight in steak. I really like the decor in the main dining room, with all of the old pictures and news articles about the restaurant. Our waitress was great and really friendly. Would like to go back and try the cheeseburger sometime, but knowing what I'll get when I order the steak, I may have to ask for a burger to go!

  Absolutely delicious meal! Everything was cooked to perfection & served in a timely manner. The staff was neat & clean and most importantly respectful& friendly. Will be back definitely.

  Local joint. Very good food. No frills. Open or Large Sirloin steak and a couple more options are your only choices. But that's just fine, cause they do them VERY well. Don't be intimidated when you walk in. it's worth the experience. Good people. And prices are incredible. Thank you for a great dinner!

  The first meal was amazing, the second and third not so much. The staff and patrons are great yet I am only giving two stars because the last two visits to get the amazing steak was a disappointment. My last steak was served on toast which was totally dry. There was no juice from the steak and the meat was not very tender. If I'm going to spend $60 I believe that the meal should be nothing less than amazing...it was not.

  Went on a Thursday night. Party hall is empty, bar is full and so is the dining room with 8 tables (I think?) We're told there's a wait, no problem, we settle in the bar area with some drinks and wait.. and wait.. and wait. Half an hour later, not one table has cleared yet. I flag down a waitress and she looks at the list, says there's two people ahead of me and no tickets are coming out ( I assume she means no one was done eating yet) and walks off back into the kitchen. We paid our tab and left. Now I'm not mad, this is clearly a small townie restaurant that got popular with Phantom Gourmet's review and most clients are regulars, we wanted to try something new and it just didn't happen. I don't want to leave a bad review but beware to anyone looking to slip in there.
